Bear Mountain Hickory Pellets Review

Overall: Bear Mountain has a consistent pellet that hold temps well and has the perfect amount of smoke.
Flavor: Bear Mountain Hickory Pellets add a great smoke flavor to all kinds of meat! The blends, however, are a bit light for my taste, but so have blends form other companies. I usually use a 100% Hickory for that reason and these do not disappoint.
Price: Bear Mountain sit at that perfect price point to value spot for myself personally. I want a good , high quality 100% hardwood pellet. Bear Mountain provides that at a lower price point than many of its competitors. They also sell on Amazon with prime shipping, which is extremely convenient!
Overall: These pellets are comparable to Lumberjack and Cooking Pellets. The price is lower though, and I can’t tell a discernible difference between them. They are higher quality than Trager or Pitboss pellets, but they aren’t overly expensive either. If you are not happy with the consistency in heat or smoke with your current pellets, give these a try!
