This is my go to for everything. I used to smoke on just charcoal or wood, but life got busy, and I needed to change to a pellet smoker. After saving for two years, I waffled between many brands. I chose Grilla, and here is why.

1. Insulated cooking chamber.

This was a must, and still is the most important feature Grilla has. I can smoke in the winter, and I do quite often, very successfully!

2. Sturdy construction.

I plan on using this smoker a long time, and I wanted a solid smoker. Grilla is by far the strongest and heaviest i have seen thus far. It holds up well, and after four years, I haven't had a single issue.

3. Well designed control board.

The original Silverbac had the perfect balance between even heat and smoke. there is a swing built in that creates that extra magic for a smokier experience!

4. Upgradeability.

Every time Grilla updates the Silverbac, it has been backwards compatible. i can pick and choose new features if I want them. this gives me some flexibility and protection from my grill being out of date soon after i buy it.

5. Customer Service.

I sent one email with a basic question 4 years ago. the head engineer, Mark, replied within an hour. I have never had an issue with the grill. this is because their website is informative and their videos answer my questions. Plus, the product has been so good, I haven't needed it!

All in all, I can just review on my personal experience. This has been a true machine. It has been dependable, and most of all, the product can be used year round!
